Large scale project
About the Company
Our client is a centralized national entity responsible for the strategic delivery and funding of essential public services. By unifying formerly regional operations into a single framework, it manages a large-scale infrastructure designed to improve system efficiency and ensure a consistent standard of care for a diverse population. Its primary focus is balancing high-level policy with frontline operational management to meet the needs of the public.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Programme Coordinator looking to take the next step towards a Project Manager career path, or for a Junior Project Manager who enjoys hands-on programme coordination and delivery support.
The role is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of complex transformation programmes through effective planning, scheduling, coordination, governance, reporting, and delivery management. Working across multiple workstreams, you will help maintain programme plans, track milestones and dependencies, coordinate key activities, and ensure delivery remains aligned to agreed objectives and timelines.
As a central member of the programme team, you will manage programme reporting, governance artefacts, RAID registers, action tracking, and stakeholder communications while providing analysis and insights that support informed decision-making. You will play a key role in identifying emerging risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring they are appropriately managed and escalated.
The role offers broad exposure to programme delivery practices, including project planning, delivery coordination, stakeholder engagement, governance, change initiatives, implementation activities, and continuous improvement. It is ideally suited to someone who is highly organised, analytical, and eager to develop their project and programme management capabilities in a structured and complex delivery environment.
Success in this role requires strong coordination and planning skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, excellent stakeholder engagement, and a proactive approach to supporting programme outcomes. This position provides a clear platform for career growth into Project Management while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day coordination and successful delivery of strategic programmes.
