About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Developer to join a collaborative technology team responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support of software applications and business systems.
This role will see you contributing to the delivery of reliable, secure and scalable technology solutions while collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to improve processes, enhance system performance and support ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements and develop effective software solutions
• Design, build, test and maintain software applications and business systems
• Write clean, secure and maintainable code across a range of technologies
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, system and performance issues
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical outcomes
• Contribute to system integrations, APIs and database development activities
• Support software releases, deployments and production environments
• Assist with reporting solutions and business intelligence initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation and system performance
• Support database administration, backup processes and data integrity
• Contribute to project planning, delivery and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Development or a related discipline
• 3 + years experience in a software development role 
• Strong commercial experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, Python and SQL 
• Experience developing and supporting applications within modern development environments 
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices 
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum or similar delivery frameworks 
• Knowledge of database management, integration and reporting solutions 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders 
• Collaborative approach with a focus on quality, accountability and continuous improvement
