We are seeking an experienced Senior Change Manager to support a high-profile workplace relocation and operational transition programme within a large, complex organisation.
This role will play a critical part in ensuring employees, leaders, and stakeholders are prepared for and successfully transition through a series of significant workplace changes, including the relocation of a mission-critical operational site and multiple operational reconfigurations with zero downtime requirements.
This is an opportunity for a seasoned change professional who thrives in complex environments, excels at stakeholder engagement, and can confidently lead people through large-scale organisational change.
About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the change strategy that supports business continuity, workforce readiness, and employee engagement throughout the programme.
You will work closely with operational leaders, project teams, and key stakeholders to minimise disruption while ensuring staff remain informed, supported, and prepared at every stage of the transition.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience in workplace relocations, organisational change, and business transformation, together with a pragmatic and hands-on approach to delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop and deliver the end-to-end Change Management Plan for a complex workplace relocation programme.
- Lead stakeholder engagement activities, building confidence and alignment across all levels of the organisation.
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments to identify risks and mitigation strategies.
- Develop and execute communication plans to ensure employees remain informed and engaged throughout the transition.
- Facilitate workshops, consultation sessions, and engagement activities with impacted teams.
- Support leaders through coaching, briefings, and change leadership activities to help them effectively guide their teams.
- Establish and support a network of change champions across the organisation.
- Deliver organisational readiness assessments and transition planning activities.
- Coordinate staff orientation, new workplace readiness activities, training materials, and FAQs.
- Monitor employee feedback and proactively manage questions, concerns, and change risks.
- Support post-relocation transition and stabilisation activities to ensure successful adoption of new ways of working.
- Ensure cultural considerations and organisational values are appropriately reflected throughout the programme.
What You Bring
- 7–10+ years’ experience leading organisational change initiatives in complex environments.
- Proven experience delivering change management activities for workplace relocations, operational transitions, or workplace transformation programmes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience developing change strategies that minimise disruption to business operations.
- Expertise in change impact assessments, organisational readiness, workforce engagement, and transition planning.
- Strong communication skills with experience creating and delivering targeted communications for diverse audiences.
- Experience supporting operational teams through changes to processes, technology, physical environments, and ways of working.
- Excellent analytical skills, including workforce impact assessment and interpretation of employee feedback.
- Ability to identify risks early and implement practical mitigation strategies.
- A collaborative, proactive, and delivery-focused approach with the ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments.
