Data Consultant

About the Role
As a Data Consultant, you’ll work closely with customers and project teams to design, build, and deliver modern data solutions that create real business value. This is a hands-on consulting role where you’ll combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills to deliver impactful solutions across a broad range of industries.
You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from understanding customer requirements and shaping solution design through to deployment and ongoing optimisation.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy modern Data & AI solutions
• Build trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes
• Support innovation and identify opportunities to enhance customer value
• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the team

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar
• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
• Understanding of modern data architecture, analytics, and AI technologies
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience delivering solutions within consulting, professional services, or customer-facing environments
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality outcomes
• Passion for technology, innovation, and solving complex business problems

Eligibility To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be currently residing in New Zealand
• Hold New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa with at least 18 months remaining
