About the Role
This Software Engineer role sits within a technology and security function and focuses on designing, building, and supporting solutions used for network and device data collection, automation, and monitoring. You’ll play a key part in developing systems that transform complex data into meaningful insights that support both operational and product outcomes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support network management solutions
- Collect, transform and structure data from multiple sources
- Build integrations, tools, and automation frameworks
- Develop visualisations to support operational insights
- Evolve systems to improve performance, scalability and reliability
- Produce clear and concise technical documentation

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering software solutions in an agile environment
- Strong capability with modern programming languages such as Node.js or Python
- Experience working with databases including MongoDB, MySQL, MS SQL or ElasticSearch
- Knowledge of REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Exposure to containerisation tools such as Docker or Kubernetes is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across technical and non-technical teams
