About the Role
This Senior Software Engineer role provides expert input across design, development and optimisation of systems used for network and device data collection, automation and monitoring. You will take ownership of complex initiatives, contribute to architectural direction, and support the development of scalable solutions aligned with product and operational needs. This is a Fixed-Term role which is set to start in July 2026 and scheduled to end on 30th June 2027. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, build and support network management solutions, including enhancements and integrations
• Collect and transform data from multiple sources into structured, usable formats
• Develop visualisations that provide actionable operational insights
• Implement automation to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, tools and deployment practices
• Produce clear technical documentation for developed components

Skills & Experience

• Strong grounding in modern software development practices and delivery methods
• Proven experience with NodeJS and Angular in production environments
• Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, MS SQL or ElasticSearch
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, CI/CD concepts and version control (Git)
• Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders in an agile setting
