About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, build and evolve the organisation’s data platform, services and integrations. Working within a lean data squad, you will contribute across the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation through to delivery for analytics and reporting. You will also play a key role in shaping governance, metadata and AI-enabled engineering practices.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable APIs, data services and integration frameworks
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across internal and external data sources
• Deliver reliable datasets and integrations for BI platforms, including Qlik
• Implement privacy-preserving data techniques such as anonymisation and aggregation
• Lead metadata, lineage and governance tooling initiatives
• Develop automation for workflows, documentation and operational processes

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience building APIs, backend services and scalable data pipelines
• Strong SQL capability with solid data modelling experience
• Experience with modern data platforms, warehousing or lakehouse architectures
• Exposure to BI and analytics tools such as Qlik
• Familiarity with data governance, metadata or lineage tooling
• Experience with containers, CI/CD and automation practices
