ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client provides a full range of IT services, from network infrastructure installation and support to computer leasing and procurement. They have specialist IT services expertise in the motor vehicle industry, with extensive implementation and support experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for offering Level 2 Engineering reactive support in this escalation position as well as project support in an MSP environment. You will have 3-5 years’ experience with IT as well as 2/3 years’ experience with MSP. You will be providing continual improvement to both processes and standards to ensure a consistent customer experience. You must have excellent communication skills with clients and co-workers at both technical and non-technical levels. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

    • Minimise business risk by ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies.
    • Communicate effectively with business partners, strategies applications and new ICT initiatives.
    • Ability to capture innovative ideas and translate into real business opportunities.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate and influence others to adopt a recommended course of action.
    • Encourage teamwork.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS 

    • IT experience – At least 3-4 years which includes hands-on T2 support
    • MSP Experience – 2-3years working in an MSP environment
    • M365 – Good experience with M365 technologies
    • Operating systems – Good experience Windows, iOS, Android 
    • Microsoft servers – Experience with MS Windows servers (2012, 2016, 2019)
    • Azure – experience with Azure Cloud services
    • Virtualization platforms – Hyper-V and/or VMware
    • Ticketing system – Experience using PSA ticketing systems (Autotask preferred)
    • RMM systems – Experience with RMM systems (NinjaOne preferred)
    • Networking – Good experience and understanding of networking concepts
    • Active Directory – AD, Azure AD

SPECIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

    • Full NZ driver licence for on-site activities
    • One weekend per month on call
    • Flexibility to assist with after-hours work on occasion.
