The Role:

Our client has a widespread presence and is renowned globally for its retail services.

We’re in urgent need of a Level 2 Windows Systems Administrator for a full-time position with a globally recognized organization.

This role is dynamic, encompassing hands-on project involvement and internal support for business as usual (BAU) activities, including both deployment and upgrade tasks, as well as service desk responsibilities.

Reporting directly to the IT Manager in New Zealand, you’ll collaborate with other Support Specialists, Group Managers, and Store Brand Managers. Your responsibilities will span Wintel Servers, Operating Systems,

Point of Sale software and hardware support, as well as managing small end-to-end projects.

The essential skills that will encourage success in your application;

• Systems Support – at least 3yrs commercial experience which must include extensive L1 & 2 hands on administration (this is not a Helpdesk or Service Desk role)
• EFTPoS / Point of Sale (Essential) – experienced in supporting and troubleshooting such associated software and hardware (essential).
• Wintel – Windows Server 2008 / 2012 / 2016 along with solid expertise in Active Directory
• Remote Access – experience with ConnectWise or TeamViewer or Kaseya or Labtech.
• Networking / Security – lower level Configuration of Routers & Switches, along with Firewall support.
• Communication – Good written and spoken English. This role involves day to day liaisons with multiple customers.
• Certification – a Microsoft related accreditation (MCP, MCSA or MCITP… type).

**A full NZ Driving Licence is mandatory.
