Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Data Strategy and Integration Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the data initiatives, ensuring seamless integration, and enhancing the end-user experience across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate Data Strategy into Initiatives: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the data strategy and translate it into actionable initiatives. Create a strategic road map that aligns with the business goals.
  • Identify New Data and Integration Opportunities: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities to enhance the data ecosystem, improve integration, and drive efficiency.
  • Prioritise Backlog for EDP/EIP: Facilitate backlog prioritisation for Enterprise Data Platforms
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis and Presentation: Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses for all related initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with Architecture Team: Prepare initiatives for the Architecture team, ensuring they align with the technical vision. Work closely with architects to take solutions from design to implementation.
  • Champion End User Experience: Advocate for a seamless data and analytics experience across the organisation. Understand user needs and drive improvements in data accessibility and usability.
  • Point of Contact for Data and Integration Initiatives: Be the go-to person for all new data and integration projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your experience with data, analytics, and integration technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Industry Best Practices and Communication: Deeply understand the client’s data and integration ecosystem. Translate complex technical jargon into clear, concise terms for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Product Owners (POs), Data Analysts, Engineers, Business Analysts (BAs), Project Managers (PMs), testers, and the wider digital team.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.

Skill Requirements: 

  • Ideally someone who has ERP experience in the Finance space.
  • Power BI and Azure
  • Proven experience in data strategy, integration, and project management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Vendor management experience is a plus.
