About the company
Our client is an esteemed organization in the IT Services domain, comprising an exceptional team, is embarking on a significant project in the Retail Space.
The Ideal Candidate
- Currently operating at Level 2 proficiency with a knack for troubleshooting Windows Servers, Desktops, and PoS systems.
- Specific training will be provided for various EFTPOS and custom systems.
Responsibilities:
- Require a full, unrestricted, and clean NZ Driving Licence to provide top-notch support to Retail stores across Auckland.
- Responsibilities include configuring and troubleshooting Windows Servers, Desktops, and PCs, alongside integrating EFTPOS facilities, testing, and implementation.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT & Technology, particularly in Level 2 Support and Hardware (hands-on Systems Administration or Field Engineer).
- Proficiency in setting up Servers, assisting onsite engineers with replacement processes, and managing EFTPOS tasks such as installing ‘Pin pad applications’ and overseeing migrations.
- Skilled in PC support, including L2 support, replacement, imaging, and setup, as well as assisting teams with new PC installations and operations.
- Experience with Wireless Access Point (WAP) and Firewall installations, collaborating with network and onsite teams to ensure smooth replacements by onsite Electricians.
- Hold a Full NZ Driving Licence
- Good communication skills
