About the Organisation
Our client is a large public sector organisation delivering a complex, multi-year transformation programme that impacts thousands of employees nationwide. With several workstreams operating concurrently, they require a capable Programme Coordinator to help maintain momentum, support governance activities, and ensure effective coordination across the programme.
 
About the Role
This is a varied programme support position that sits at the centre of a large and complex programme environment. You’ll work closely with programme leadership, project managers and delivery teams to coordinate activities, maintain schedules, support governance forums, and provide reporting that assists informed decision-making.
The role offers a mix of programme coordination, governance administration, reporting and light analytical responsibilities. Experience supporting payroll, workforce, HRIS or large-scale business transformation programmes will be highly regarded.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Coordinate programme activities, meetings, workshops and key delivery milestones
  • Maintain programme schedules, action logs, decision registers and governance documentation
  • Prepare governance packs, status reports, dashboards and meeting materials
  • Track programme risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (RAID)
  • Monitor progress across multiple workstreams and escalate delivery concerns where required
  • Analyse programme information and provide insights to support decision-making

 
Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience as a Programme Coordinator, PMO Coordinator or Project Manager ready to get into bigger Progammes ideally in the public sector
  • Strong governance, reporting and stakeholder coordination capability
  • Experience maintaining schedules, action registers, RAID logs and programme documentation
  • Comfortable consolidating information from multiple stakeholders into clear reports and updates
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, word and BPMN tools.
  • Able to work effectively within complex, fast-moving programmes with multiple dependencies
  • Exposure to payroll, workforce management, HRIS or large-scale transformation programmes would be advantageous
