About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager, for an initial 3-months contract, (with a potential extension or perm work to follow) to lead the successful delivery of technology projects for a varied client base. This role combines strategic stakeholder management, project leadership and commercial oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Working closely with clients, technical specialists and internal delivery teams, you will drive project success across a range of modernisation and transformation initiatives. You will be a confident communicator who can translate business requirements into practical outcomes while proactively managing risks, resources and project performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ensure projects align with client business strategies, objectives and expectations
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to optimise project delivery outcomes
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, expenditure tracking and financial performance
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across client and internal teams
  • Provide regular project reporting, status updates and governance communications
  • Oversee project quality, compliance and adherence to best-practice delivery standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to delivery excellence across the wider team
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities

Skills & Experience

  • 3 or more years’ experience managing medium to large-scale technology projects
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex transformation or modernisation programmes
  • Strong experience across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid project delivery methodologies
  • Ability to manage project budgets, financial tracking and commercial outcomes
  • Proven experience with resource planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive, solutions-focused approach

Desirable Experience

  • Delivery experience across Cloud, Data, Modern Workplace or Network transformation projects
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for project delivery and planning
  • Formal project management certifications such as PMI, PRINCE2 and/or Agile qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business or a related discipline
