About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Information Management Support professional to assist with a high-volume digitisation project focused on scan-to-destroy records management. This initial 3-month contract, with the potential to extend to 6 months, involves scanning and digitising physical records, maintaining information accuracy and security, and supporting the efficient management of council information. The ideal candidate will have experience in document digitisation, records handling or information management, be confident using scanning hardware and software (such as eSyScan or Capture Pro), and demonstrate strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to confidentiality and safe records handling. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to an important information management initiative.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in document scanning, digitisation, records management, or information handling environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow processes and maintain data quality.
- Proficiency in using scanning hardware and software, ideally including eSyScan, Capture Pro, or similar digitisation tools.
- Understanding of confidentiality, privacy requirements, and secure handling of sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently, manage workloads effectively, and proactively escalate issues or risks.
- Physical capability to safely handle paper records, archive files, and storage boxes while adhering to health and safety requirements.
