ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced SQL Data Analyst (Tauranga 3 – 4 days on-site) to join a large-scale wealth transformation programme, supporting the migration of critical data into a new SaaS platform. This role sits within the Build phase of the programme and will focus on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and successful migration of complex datasets from legacy systems.
You will be responsible for hands-on SQL development, data profiling, and remediation activities, working closely with architecture and delivery teams to align migration outputs with platform requirements. This is a fast-paced, high-impact role suited to someone who thrives on solving complex data challenges and ensuring high data quality standards.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 4–6 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or SQL Developer, with strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Advanced SQL development skills, including complex querying and optimisation across large, complex datasets
  • Proven experience in data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation
  • Hands-on expertise in data profiling, data quality assessment, and remediation to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience troubleshooting data issues and resolving discrepancies
  • Experience working with SQL Server ecosystem tools (SSIS, SQL Agent Jobs) and collaborating with technical teams; financial services domain knowledge advantageous
