Senior Consultant

We’re seeking a highly experienced Control‑M & Unisys Consultant to join a leading financial enterprise. This is a hands-on, permanent position for someone who can hit the ground running and take ownership of critical batch scheduling and mainframe operations.

About the Role
You will manage the full lifecycle of Control‑M, ensuring reliable overnight batch processing and enterprise workflow performance across a Unisys mainframe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end Control‑M support, maintenance, and optimisation
• Administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of batch workflows
• Control‑M/Agent installation and configuration
• Build Control‑M environments from scratch (Windows or Linux)
• OS administration (Windows/Linux)
• Manage SSL certificates (incl. Java keytool)
• Develop workflows using Unisys WFL scripting
• Support overnight batch schedules and critical operations
• Apply DevSecOps principles
• Produce clear technical documentation

What You Bring

• 10+ years Unisys mainframe experience
• Proven Control‑M maintenance and support in enterprise environments
• Experience with Control‑M installations and full lifecycle ownership
• Experience building Control‑M from the ground up
• Strong batch scheduling expertise (incl. overnight cycles)
• Experience with SSL certificate management
• Hands-on DevOps experience (Azure DevOps preferred)
• Windows/Linux administration (certified or equivalent experience)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Financial services experience
• COBOL development/support experience
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps
