About the role
This large, globally connected organisation is seeking an experienced Master Data Manager to lead the development, governance, and rollout of a best‑practice Master Data Management (MDM) capability across multiple business units.
Reporting into senior digital leadership, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of the organisation’s Master Data Management capability, from platform selection and solution design through phased implementation and ongoing governance.
You will play a critical role in enabling broader initiatives such as ERP transformation, advanced analytics, and executive decision‑making by ensuring master data is accurate, governed, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of an enterprise MDM platform
- Establish and embed master data governance frameworks, standards and taxonomies
- Drive legacy data cleansing and uplift data accuracy across systems
- Define and monitor data quality KPIs and dashboards
- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Production and Planning
- Build organisational capability and foster a data‑centric culture
Key requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading Master Data Management and data governance strategies
- Strong hands‑on experience managing ERP master data across finance and supply chain domains
- Experience with enterprise MDM platforms (e.g. SAP MDG, Informatica, EBX, or similar)
- Advanced SQL/database skills and solid data modelling capability
- Experience building and reporting on data quality metrics using modern BI tools
- Proven ability to work effectively in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
- Experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments (desirable)
- Working knowledge of financial data and reporting requirements
