About the Role
This Senior iOS Engineer role sits within a high-performing product squad focused on delivering and enhancing a core mobile application used in fast-paced operational environments.
Following a major backend uplift and performance improvements across the iOS application, the team is now entering a new phase of feature delivery and product evolution. You will play a key role in designing and building intuitive, high-performing mobile experiences while shaping the future direction of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain advanced iOS applications for iPad using Swift and Objective-C
• Lead development from concept through to deployment, ensuring performance and usability
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services, APIs and cloud platforms
• Ensure application reliability, performance and responsiveness
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues and crashes
• Provide mentorship, code reviews and technical guidance within the team

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior iOS Developer
• Strong expertise in Swift and Objective-C, including modernisation efforts
• Ability to influence technically and contribute to team direction
• Experience integrating with APIs and cloud-based services
• Solid understanding of software design principles and system architecture
• Strong experience with AI development tools and workflows 

Nice to Have

• Experience in a scaled SaaS environment
• Exposure to modern cloud platforms and distributed systems
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team uplift
