About the Role

Our public sector client are looking for an experienced IT Transition Project Manager to join on an initial 6 mo. contract to lead complex IT service migrations, ensuring minimal disruption. This contract role involves managing stakeholder engagement and coordinating vendors throughout the transition process.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive transition plans
• Oversee transition delivery
• Identify and mitigate transition risks
• Engage with vendors and stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal teams
• Ensure operational readiness for BAU handover

Skills & Experience

• 10–15 years managing large-scale IT projects
• Experience transitioning services between vendors
• Solid understanding of ITIL and cloud technologies
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proven leadership in complex environments
• Ability to navigate ambiguity effectively
