Test Analyst

About the Role

Our public sector client is seeking a Test Analyst to join on  to support the hands-on delivery of testing for a significant ERP implementation. Working within a small, agile team, this role is focused on executing functional testing and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) for a cloud-based system that will enhance community services and organisational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working through test scripts efficiently. You’ll be confident refining test cases, prioritising tasks, and understanding the broader impacts of defects across modules. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a major digital transformation within a supportive public sector environment. Candidates must be available 4 days p.w. onsite.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test scripts across ERP modules
• Refine and add detail to test cases where needed
• Prioritise testing activities based on risk and impact
• Identify and document defects, and track them using Jira
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stream leads to understand testing requirements
• Support UAT preparation and issue resolution

Skills & Experience

• Experience testing large-scale cloud applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test processes
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Understanding of defect management and impact analysis
• Familiarity with Jira or similar tools
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute across the team
