About the Role
As a Quant Developer, you’ll architect and build the platform that enables researchers to develop and deploy trading signals. You’ll design ultra‑low‑latency, highly available services in C++, support operational Python workflows, and build data pipelines, storage and visualisation tooling. Working closely with quantitative researchers, you’ll own performance, reliability and observability end‑to‑end in a high‑frequency trading environment.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Build and optimise C++ low‑latency components with consistent sub‑millisecond performance.
- Develop and maintain Python services for operational workflows, tooling and automation.
- Design and evolve data pipelines, storage schemas and visualisation components for researchers.
- Collaborate with Quant Researchers to enable rapid signal iteration and robust deployment.
- Own CI/CD, build pipelines, testing, and production reliability for critical trading systems.

Skills & Experience Required
- Expert level C++ with a demonstrated history of sub‑millisecond, low‑latency systems.
- Proficient Python for operational tooling, automation and data workflows.
- Experience building data pipelines, storage architectures and visualisation tooling.
- Strong CI/CD and build pipeline management; solid Git and code‑review practices.
- Experience in HFT/market microstructure desirable; observability tools (Elastic/Grafana) a plus.
