About the Company
Our client is a fast-growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) supporting businesses across New Zealand and Australia. With a collaborative and forward-thinking culture, they’re committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering professional growth.
They are now seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer with a broad technical skill set and a passion for customer service. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to grow into a Systems Engineer role.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality Level 2 support across a wide range of technologies, with some exposure to Level 3 tasks.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring a smooth and professional support experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server, networking, Azure, Microsoft 365, and security tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in an IT support role, within an MSP environment (MSP experience is a must.
Strong technical knowledge across:
- Windows Server & Active Directory
- Networking (DNS, DHCP, firewalls, routing)
- Microsoft 365 & Azure (VMs, virtual networking, Azure AD, WVD, PaaS)
- Security tools and endpoint protection
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with a customer-first mindset.
- A proactive, solutions-focused attitude and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- A desire to grow your career into systems engineering and beyond.
