Our client is a well-respected education provider with a strong focus on delivering high-quality learning outcomes through modern technology. They’re undergoing a period of digital transformation, with Microsoft Dynamics 365 sitting at the heart of their customer and training management functions.
About the Role
This Solutions Architect contract will see you supporting the ongoing evolution of the organisation’s CRM and Training Management System (TMS), built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. Working alongside a vendor-led delivery team, you’ll guide the strategic and functional design of CRM modules and interfaces, manage enhancements, and ensure alignment with business processes.
While major implementation work is vendor-managed, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring solutions meet the organisation’s current and future needs—providing governance, documentation, coaching, and domain leadership across internal systems and analyst teams.
You’ll also support the business in planning and potentially leading the transition from on-prem infrastructure to cloud-based services, ensuring minimal operational disruption.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the organisation’s Microsoft Dynamics CRM and integrated TMS
- Analyse business processes and translate them into system requirements
- Manage and oversee the implementation of CRM enhancements
- Provide guidance, documentation, and peer review for reports and system specifications
- Coach and mentor internal analysts and support staff
- Contribute to planning and delivery of cloud migration strategies
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly CRM modules
- Experience in solution design and process mapping within enterprise systems
- Ability to guide vendor-led delivery, ensuring strategic alignment and quality outcomes
- Strong documentation, analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Familiarity with education or training sector systems (nice to have)
- Experience mentoring or leading junior technical staff
