Your Role: As an AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Manage, monitor, and optimize the performance, cost, and security of my clients AWS infrastructure, applications, and services.
• Ensure that AWS technologies used by my Client are fit for purpose and aligned with industry best practices.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of My Clients’s AWS environment and ensure alignment with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Lead compliance activities related to AWS environments and implement infrastructure configurations to maintain consistency across environments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain scripts and tools to streamline and simplify repetitive tasks, improving efficiency and reducing human error.
• Monitor security events and incidents and respond in a timely and effective manner.
• Analyze AWS resource usage to identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost optimizations.
• Assist in defining and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment with project and product goals.
• Provide guidance and support on AWS best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Convai’s AWS infrastructure, configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
