ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is a renowned organisation based in Hamilton and they are now on a hunt for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure solutions for our clients across various industries. You will work alongside a team of experienced engineers to ensure our clients’ IT systems are running smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable IT infrastructure solutions for our clients.
• Manage and troubleshoot a wide range of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
• Proactively monitor and maintain system health to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact clients.
• Provide technical support to our clients and ensure their IT needs are met.
• Document technical processes and procedures.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a related IT infrastructure role.
• Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure solutions (e.g., VMware, Hosts, SAN, Network, Core MS Stack).
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
