Recruitment Process
We keep our process clear and straightforward and we aim to provide quick and transparent feedback at every stage.
Step 1: Application & Introduction
Once you apply, the Absolute IT Recruitment team will review your CV and if we think you may be a good fit for the role, one of our consultants will give you a call for an initial chat to assess your suitability.
Step 2: Absolute IT Interview
If your application progresses, you’ll have an interview (virtual or in-person) with one of our consultants to talk about SSS, the role, and your experience. We’ll get to know your skills and career goals so that we can represent you accurately to the SSS team.
Step 3: SSS Interview
If you’re invited to move forward in the process, you’ll meet with the SSS team to explore your skills and fit, and you’ll have the chance to ask any questions you might have about the role and company.
Step 4: Second Interview & Testing
If your application progresses to this stage, you’ll meet with SSS again for a follow-up conversation, including STAR-based questions aimed at specific technical or soft skills. Where appropriate, testing or a case study relevant to the position may be included.
Step 5: References & Checks
At this stage of the process, Absolute IT and SSS will complete reference checks, relevant probity checks, and any necessary security checks. To minimise disruption, these checks take place at the end of the process once mutual interest has been established.
Step 6: Offer
If you’re successful, SSS will make a formal offer outlining all the details of your new role.
