About the role:
As a Business Analyst Lead, you will provide leadership, coaching and guidance to a team of five Business Analysts while continuing to operate as a senior practitioner when required. Reporting to the Business Analysis Practice Lead, this role is responsible for driving best practice business analysis, uplifting team capability, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes across technology and business initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to understand strategic objectives, influence solution design, and promote the adoption of effective methodologies, tools and ways of working. The role requires a strong blend of technology and business experience gained within complex enterprise environments, enabling you to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while maintaining an enterprise-wide perspective.
Success in this role requires a balance of people leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on business analysis expertise to deliver meaningful business value, drive continuous improvement, and support the successful delivery of organisational priorities.
This role is 2 days a week on-site in Hamilton.

Skills and Requirement:
 

  • Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing Business Analysts, with the ability to build capability and drive high performance within a collaborative team environment.   
  • Strong business analysis experience within complex technology and digital environments, including requirements elicitation, solution design support, and stakeholder engagement.   
  • Demonstrated enterprise-level experience working across both business and technology functions, with the ability to align solutions to strategic objectives and organisational priorities.   
  • Deep understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, tools and techniques, with experience working across Agile, Lean and traditional delivery approaches.   
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted partnerships across the organisation.   
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with proven ability to drive best practice, deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced environments, and leverage AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve efficiency and business value.
