The Role:
The Business Analyst based in Tauranga 3 days a week on-site acts as a crucial link between business stakeholders and the technology team. Their core responsibility involves understanding and documenting current operational processes, then collaborating with both business and technical teams to define and document future solutions, including detailed requirements. This is achieved through process modelling, requirements gathering and analysis, and the development of scenario models with supporting metrics for informed decision-making. They establish strong business relationships, produce comprehensive business analyses identifying issues and opportunities, translate business needs into clear requirements, conduct research on business challenges, and support the implementation of solutions. Furthermore, they contribute to the design, implementation, and support of business applications, working closely with the digital team and subject matter experts to enhance user efficiency.
  
Skills & experience required: 
 

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business requirements to support the delivery of the programme initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technology teams to define current-state and future-state business processes and solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder discussions to gather insights, validate requirements, and drive decision-making.
• Develop process maps, business cases, functional specifications, and other analysis artefacts to support solution design and implementation.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technical delivery teams and solution partners.
• Perform business impact, cost-benefit, and process improvement analyses to identify opportunities and support strategic business outcomes.
• Support solution implementation, testing, change adoption, and transition to business-as-usual operations, ensuring alignment with programme standards and business objectives.
