About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Team Leader of Digital Architecture to shape the direction of technology across a complex enterprise organisation.
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for defining how technology platforms, systems, and applications are designed, integrated, and evolved to support business outcomes. You will play a key role in aligning technology strategy with organisational priorities, ensuring systems are high-performing, future-ready, and well-integrated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the organisation’s overall technology strategy and future roadmap
  • Define and guide architecture direction across platforms, systems, and applications
  • Ensure all technology investments align with business goals and industry best practice
  • Lead the design of integrated, scalable, and secure technology solutions
  • Establish and maintain architecture frameworks, standards, and policies
  • Ensure solutions meet requirements for performance, security, reliability, and scalability
  • Clearly communicate architecture decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders
  • Partner with senior leaders and vendors to ensure alignment with strategic direction
  • Build team capability through mentoring, performance management, and development
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain annual plans, strategies, and work programmes
  • Ensure resources are effectively allocated to meet delivery commitments
  • Monitor workload and adjust priorities to support successful outcomes

About You 

  • 10+ years’ experience in technology leadership, architecture, or solution design roles
  • Proven track record designing and delivering enterprise-level technology solutions
  • Broad experience across:
    • Applications, platforms, and infrastructure
    • Data, analytics, and security
    • Cloud and enterprise systems
  • Experience developing architecture roadmaps and guiding strategic decisions
  • Ability to define strategies, standards, and roadmaps across an organisation
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Skilled at bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and developing teams
  • Ability to create a high-performing, engaged team environment
  • Experience setting direction and delivering through others
  • Ideally TOGAF certified
