Senior Java Developer

About the Role

Our public sector client are looking for Senior Java Developers to work on enterprise-scale systems supporting information management, digital evidence capture, and operational awareness. This is a permanent role supporting multiple projects involving backend Java development and full-stack Java/React solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications
• Build backend services with Java and Spring Boot
• Develop web interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Create and maintain APIs and integrations
• Participate in solution design and code reviews
• Support production environments and platform enhancements

Skills & Experience

• Strong Java development experience
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, APIs, microservices
• Full-stack skills with React and TypeScript preferred
• Experience with enterprise applications and integrations
• Agile delivery environment experience
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like OpenShift, Jenkins advantageous
