About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support their data platform initiatives. The role involves designing and implementing scalable data models to facilitate reporting and analytics across multiple business units.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data models for reporting and analytics across complex business domains
• Build, maintain, and optimise data transformations using dbt within a Snowflake data platform
• Support the transition and migration from on‑prem SQL Server to modern cloud-based solutions
• Apply strong T‑SQL and SQL data warehousing expertise for data manipulation, performance tuning, and optimisation
• Contribute to cloud data initiatives leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric
• Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, demonstrating strong problem‑solving and communication skills

Skills & Experience Required OR About Your Experience

• Strong T‑SQL skills and SQL Data Warehousing experience
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake in a data engineering or analytics environment
• Experience using dbt for data modelling and transformation
• Proven experience with data modelling in complex domains
• Hands-on experience in cloud environments, preferably Azure
• Familiarity with modern data platforms; Microsoft Fabric would be advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
