About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Network Engineer to join a dynamic MSP environment where no two days are the same. The role will focus on managing, configuring, and supporting network infrastructure across multiple clients. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced engineers to deliver robust solutions, ensuring networks are reliable, secure, and optimised.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure for a variety of clients.
• Manage firewalls, routing, and switching environments, with a strong focus on Fortinet solutions.
• Support and troubleshoot Layer 2 networking.
• Support and troubleshoot BGP routing.
• Assist with ISP provisioning tasks and connectivity solutions.
• Work with SD-WAN technologies to enhance network performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with clients to resolve complex networking issues.
• Provide documentation and recommendations to improve network efficiency and security.
• Assist with projects involving upgrades, migrations, and new network implementations.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, ideally in an MSP or ISP environment.
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and security solutions.
• Experience with Layer 2 networking and BGP routing protocols.
• Exposure to ISP provisioning and connectivity processes.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions.
• Familiarity with Mikrotik routing would be advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
