Business Analyst

About the Role

Working for our public sector client, this is a 12-month fixed-term Business Analyst role focused on modernising human resources systems and improving related processes. You’ll work across the business to understand current needs, identify opportunities, and support the implementation of fit-for-purpose solutions that deliver long-term value.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to gather insights on finance-related processes and system requirements
• Analyse pain points and inefficiencies, and recommend areas for improvement
• Assist in identifying and selecting suitable HR system solutions (HRIS)
• Support implementation activities and ensure new processes are well understood and adopted
• Act as a key link between finance, business units, and technical teams

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong understanding of finance processes and human resource systems (HRIS)
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, particularly around systems or process change
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Friendly, approachable, and confident engaging with a range of stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently and navigating complexity with a solutions-focused mindset
