About the Role

This hands-on role is embedded in operational activity, with a 50/50 split between BAU and monitoring. You’ll be the organisation’s primary cybersecurity contact, managing and optimising an existing Microsoft-based platform.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Intune, and Purview
• Lead incident response and coordinate investigations
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and ensure framework compliance
• Support secure system changes and BAU operations
• Provide cyber guidance and promote user awareness

About Your Experience

• 7+ years in cybersecurity (or 5+ with strong network engineering background)
• Expertise in Microsoft security tools (Sentinel, Defender, Intune, Purview)
• Strong incident response and monitoring capabilities
• Familiarity with NIST CSF or NZISM frameworks
• Relevant certifications (e.g. AZ-500, CISSP) desirable
