About the Role
Our public sector client is looking for a hands-on, adaptable Business Analyst to support their BAU operations – someone who can speak tech and business, and isn’t afraid to get stuck in across a wide range of initiatives.
This is not your typical BA role. As a generalist with a technical background, you’ll be just as comfortable helping to stand up a new SharePoint list or building a Power Automate workflow as you are helping business users evaluate and procure a new H&S tool. The work is business-led but technically under-supported – that’s where you come in.
You’ll be supporting conversations around system integration, workflow improvement, and software implementation across a Microsoft/Azure environment, working alongside both technical teams and non-technical business units.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead and support business-led digital initiatives from discovery to implementation
- Build and maintain SharePoint lists, Power Automate workflows, and related tools
- Support system evaluations, including procurement and implementation planning
- Guide the business through system integration challenges, particularly ERP/Finance
- Bridge the technical gap in business-led projects by offering practical expertise
Skills and Experience Required
- Proven experience in a generalist BA or digital solutions role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
- Confident working across technical and non-technical teams
- Familiarity with ERP and Finance system integrations
- Flexible, proactive and comfortable operating in ambiguity
- Bonus: knowledge of Datascape or SCADA environments
