Senior Business Analyst

About the Organisation

Our client is a public sector agency, currently mid-flight in a workplace modernisation programme. They are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst on a 9 month contract to support them with the delivery of this programme and ensure successful business outcomes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements.
• Analyse current state processes and help define future state models.
• Document business needs and identify gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical teams and project leads on solution alignment.
• Support testing, training, and change-related activities as needed.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong background as a Senior Business Analyst, with a background delivering M365 projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and bring clarity in complex environments.
• Familiarity with the NZ public sector required.
• Must be a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident with 5+ years’ residency in NZ.
