About the Role:
Working for our public sector client on a 12 month Contract, as Senior Project Manager you’ll lead the internal coordination of a significant mid-flight HRIS implementation project. A vendor has been selected and the contract is due to be signed shortly. Implementation is expected to kick off from July/August. You’ll play a crucial role as the internal project lead, working alongside the vendor to ensure successful delivery across all business units.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact between the vendor and internal stakeholders
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and risk registers
- Coordinate internal readiness across functions including HR, payroll, IT, and finance
- Facilitate workshops, communication, and change management planning
- Monitor vendor delivery to ensure alignment with business needs and outcomes
Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-level HRIS implementations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Understanding of HR functions such as payroll, recruitment, onboarding, performance, and succession planning
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Government or large organisation experience preferred
