Our client is seeking an ambitious, energetic, and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their team, a leading provider of technology solutions to medium and large enterprises across New Zealand.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on sales role focused on driving new business growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying prospects, building relationships, and converting them into long-term clients. Your goal: help them expand their client base and drive sustainable financial success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to win new business
  • Identify new markets and customer needs that align with their solutions
  • Source and convert leads into loyal, long-term clients
  • Build strong relationships with prospects, clients, suppliers, and resellers
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and initiatives
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting via their CRM
  • Represent the client at meetings, events, and networking opportunities

About You: We’re looking for a motivated sales professional who thrives on the thrill of the hunt and has a solid track record in solution sales.
You will bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development or solution sales (Tech industry experience highly preferred)
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strong hunter mentality with excellent prospecting skills
  • Ability to build rapport and close deals at the enterprise level
  • Tech savvy, with good understanding of IT solutions and market trends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and a proactive attitude
