About the Organisation

Our public sector client has embarked on an exciting programme to build a new Greenfields platform that will transform how customers engage with their services. As part of this initiative, they are looking for an Intermediate Developer to join their BAU team, contributing to ongoing development and enhancement efforts.

About the Role

This is a full-stack development role with a strong front-end focus, working primarily with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and some NodeJS and NextJS. The role also involves CI/CD pipelines, C#, SQL, and AWS exposure. Additionally, experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet will be beneficial.

This is an initial 3-month contract until 30 June 2025, with the potential to extend further and transition into a permanent role.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality applications and digital services to improve internal capabilities and customer engagement.
• Adhere to best practices in software development, testing, and code reviews.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems as part of a continuous improvement approach.
• Work closely with tech leads, testers, PMs, and designers to build robust, scalable solutions.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong experience with React and other front-end technologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines in a .Net environment, C# and SQL.
• Proficiency NodeJS and/or other modern JavaScript frameworks
• Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) and AWS preferred.
