About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions with a strong focus on integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, applying your technical expertise to support delivery and ensure adherence to best practices.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software solutions.
- Support cross-functional teams with technical expertise.
- Ensure adherence to software architecture and best practices.
- Work with Azure services and frameworks like Node.js.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary level qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
- Deep understanding of software architecture and best practices.
- Experience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, and Blob Storage.
- Proficiency in frameworks like Node.js.
- Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with AWS services such as Cognito, Lambda, S3 Buckets, CloudFront, Route 53, GraphQL, EC2 Instances, and AppSync.
- Experienced in Test-Driven Development (TDD) with strong proficiency in writing unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
- Essential knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, including proficiency with tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery.
