About the role

Are you passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive business success? Our client is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing and automating their Azure multi-tenant infrastructure, working closely with the IT Manager to deliver innovative, business-focused solutions using Microsoft’s latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, set up, and maintain core systems and technologies.
  • Manage and optimize MDM, Intune, and Autopilot configurations.
  • Ensure all backup, disaster recovery, and restore practices are robust, tested, and well-documented.
  • Promote an agile culture for seamless collaboration and iterative development.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, leveraging automation tools to streamline workflows.
  • Implement real-time monitoring and escalation practices.
  • Use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools to provision and scale cloud resources efficiently.
  • Administer version control systems and development tools to support smooth collaboration.
  • Collaborate on release management strategies to ensure seamless deployments.
  • Utilize cloud-native technologies like containerization and serverless computing to build scalable solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Azure, PaaS, IaaS, and related technologies.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd-level support to the business and assist with 3rd-level tasks and projects.

Key skills required for the role:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or similar role, with expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
  • Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform and experience with serverless architecture.
  • Strong background in backup and recovery technologies with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, or equivalent.
