About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our team, focusing on portfolio ledger pricing, financial analysis, and reporting. This role offers an opportunity to work with complex financial data while providing crucial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pricing Analysis: Manage and analyze pricing for portfolio debt ledgers, a key profitability driver for the business.
• Budgeting Support: Contribute to budgeting initiatives and maintain regular updates across departments.
• Dashboard Development: Design and maintain financial and operational dashboards to track key performance metrics.
• Data Insights: Conduct detailed financial, operational, and commercial analyses, providing actionable recommendations to senior management.
• Strategic Support: Deliver data-driven insights to senior management to inform decision-making.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or another analytic field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in corporate or commercial finance.
• Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling, and spreadsheet formatting best practices.
• Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in data manipulation and analysis.
• Proven experience in financial modeling and valuation methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, extraction and transformation, and query tools (SQL, BI tools, Power Query, or similar platforms)
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
