Power BI Developer

About the Role

Our public sector client are seeking a Power BI Developer for an approximate 6 month contract. In this position you will develop key reporting metrics and insights for a digital project delivery contributing to meaningful outcomes for the population of Aotearoa New Zealand.  You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs, gathering and refining requirements to build effective Power BI reports and dashboards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to collect and clarify requirements
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards
• Transform raw data into insightful, user-friendly visuals
• Optimise Power BI solutions for performance and usability

Skills and Experience Required

• Proven experience in Power BI development and data visualisation
• Strong background in data analysis and translating requirements into dashboards
• Familiarity with public sector data handling and reporting needs
• Excellent communication skills, with a consultative approach
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
