About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems & Network Administrator to join our client’s dynamic team.

This role is pivotal to maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure, ensuring robust cybersecurity, and supporting seamless business operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and review cybersecurity events (SIEMs, Zabbix, OpenCanary).
  • Manage Azure services; DevOps experience is a plus.
  • Oversee PKI, backups, replication, and disaster recovery (Veeam preferred).
  • Provide technical support, including ticket creation and follow-ups.
  • Manage EDR systems (Sophos preferred).
  • Administer Active Directory, email security (Mimecast preferred), and group policies.
  • Script with PowerShell, Batch, or Bash.
  • Manage Windows, Linux, macOS environments, and POS systems.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Entra AD, SSO).
  • Oversee centralized wireless, Cisco IOS, firewall (Fortigate preferred), and VPN management.
  • Handle mobile device management (MDM) and IT asset tracking.
  • Manage enterprise storage (Fibre Channel SAN, NAS, Sophos) and virtualization (VMware preferred).
  • Perform server builds, hardware upgrades, and network administration.
  • Manage user provisioning, permissions, and OS licensing compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 4 years of experience in systems administration.
  • Good experience with Networking
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience with SIEM tools.
  • Experience with Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.
  • Ability to manage and troubleshoot a wide range of IT systems and networks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle support calls professionally.
