Our client is a large financial entity, operating in an Agile environment.
The Technical Data Architect will design and implement tailored data solutions, collaborating with various teams to understand data needs and create custom data models. This role includes advocating for data governance, detailing necessary tools and technologies, and assisting in solution implementation while addressing technical challenges and supporting delivery teams.


  • At least 3 to 5 years in architecture, design or in a technical lead role which includes 8 to 10 years in data-centric domains.
  • Extensive experience leading Data Warehousing and Data Analytics projects, including data acquisition, transformation, delivery, and data science.
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance, data modelling principles, database design, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as Redshift/Netezza, data acquisition patterns like CDC, and data movement/integration/ETL tools like Fivetran, dbt, or Informatica or similar.
  • Experience building optimized data pipelines in Redshift, leveraging its columnar storage and MPP for enhanced performance, and familiarity with DMS, Redshift Spectrum, and federated queries.
  • Proficiency with analytics and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Cognos, and R.
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Machine Learning processes using Feature Store, Runtime ML, MLflow, and AutoML.
  • Understanding of data science techniques such as reinforcement learning, deep learning, and classification.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Shell Scripting, Python, or Scala.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


  • Experience with Salesforce/MuleSoft data integration patterns
  • Familiarity with the Databricks Lakehouse concept, Medallion architecture, and its implementation in enterprise environments.
