About the Role

Are you passionate about optimising digital ecosystems? As NZGIF’s Infrastructure Management Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing their M365 E5 environment, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with NZGIF’s needs. Dive into SharePoint optimization, championing its use across the organization. Your focus on security and incident response will uphold their commitment to robust data protection.
As the ideal candidate for this position, you will have excellent hands-on technical ability, and have strong experience managing vendor relationships. You will bring a can-do attitude, and will buy into the vision of what NZGIF as a mission driven organisation is seeking to achieve

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize M365 E5 environment, including user accounts and security settings
  • Monitor IT Fleet specifications and warranties, ensuring operational efficiency
  • Champion and improve NZGIF SharePoint site, driving user adoption and best practices
  • Proactively monitor evolving security threats and controls, organizing tests and awareness training
  • Coordinate with ICT suppliers to ensure continuity and minimize “Shadow IT” risks

Skills & Experience Required

  • Expertise in M365 environment management and SharePoint optimization
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response
  • Excellent supplier coordination, vendor management and communication skills
  • Proven ability to balance security and usability in digital environments
