About the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our client’s dynamic IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate and operational infrastructure and be able to mentor team members. They will be confident in leading the resolution of IT issues and exploring innovative solutions to meet business needs. This full-time role requires flexibility to support a 24/7 operation, including on-call duties. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, diligent, and approachable, with a proven ability to improve user experience, lead projects, and maintain hardware.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Strong Technical Skills: Proven expertise in Windows OS, VMware, Citrix, MFA, cybersecurity, networking fundamentals, and cloud technologies (Office 365, Exchange Online, Azure, and backup/recovery).
• Senior Level Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Senior IT Systems Engineer.
• Excellent Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Innovative troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Safety-Conscious: Ability to work safely in heavy industrial environments, including heights and waterside operations.
