About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and customer-focused Application Support Specialist to join our client based in Rotorua. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, support, and continuous improvement of our business applications. You’ll act as a key link between users, technical teams, and stakeholders, helping to resolve issues and optimise system performance.

Key Requirements

• Provide daily support, monitoring, and maintenance of business-critical applications to ensure smooth operations
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently, managing L1–L2 incidents, problems, and service requests
• Work closely with end-users to understand needs and deliver timely, effective solutions with a strong customer focus
• Collaborate with developers, vendors, and IT teams to escalate issues, implement fixes, and support system improvements
• Assist with system upgrades, releases, testing, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance application performance
• Maintain thorough documentation and utilise strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills, with experience in ticketing systems, SQL/databases, and enterprise applications (CRM/ERP desirable)
