About the Role
This is a role for a seasoned Senior Data Engineering who thrives in complex environments, can work independently with clients, and enjoys taking ownership from strategy through to delivery. It’s an opportunity to work on diverse projects, solve high-value problems, and influence data strategy for some of New Zealand’s leading businesses.

Key Skills & Expertise

• 10+ years’ commercial experience in Data Warehousing and ETL Engineering, including building Datamarts, advanced Data Engineering, Development, and ETL processes.
• Proven ability to design, optimise, and maintain complex SQL queries and procedures. (essential)
• Expertise in platforms and technologies such as Snowflake, Fabric, Databricks, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Proficient in dbt, Coalesce, Fivetran, Azure Data Factory, and WhereScape RED.
• Skilled in BI and visualisation tools including Power BI and Tableau.
• Additional skills include Python, Terraform, and AI experience.
