Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a data focus who has exceptional expertise in Power BI. This role requires a strong blend of technical capability, business acumen, and client-facing experience to deliver insightful data solutions that drive decision-making. This will be a full time contract opportunity for 3-4 weeks to go in and help drive business change.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Analyse complex data sets and translate insights into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Gather, document, and validate business requirements from key stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for reporting and analytics solutions.
• Present findings to clients in a compelling and engaging manner, telling a clear data-driven story.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced reporting capabilities.
• Work with Microsoft services and data lake environments to optimise reporting and analytics solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and presenting Power BI reports.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft services, data lakes, and related technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into strategic value.
• Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Previous experience in a client-facing role is highly desirable.
